This is Mesmerize
I've known Clayton and Mateo for a looooooong time. Clayton and I used to play music back in the day. So when he approached me about contributing some art to the first Mesmerize in 2020, it was a no brainer.
I was asked to illustrate "journal pages" left behind by Mesmer as they traveled through the different exhibits.
All the pages were hand drawn in ink on paper.

In 2025 the boys began to prepare for a new Mesmerize exhibit and again brought me in to contribute to the exhibit!

I was fortunate enough to be able to paint a mural for the Painted Passage exhibit.

Dreamologists at work!
This was an "artist rendition" of the Dreamologists inspecting the Colossal crystal
Just having some fun with color
Follow the pages....
Last Mesmerize there were journal pages left behind by "Mesmer" to help guide others through the exhibit. The 2024 storyline revolved around the investigation of Colossal crystal. The page guides were illustrated over the Dreamologists Field notepad sheets.
On Holo Hall, I used the graphic by Chris Tobar and warped the imagine in a fading effect to reflect the installation.

Let the
music play!
So many talented musicians came together to make the sound track for Mesmerize - Living Dream.
I was happy to once again be able to co-write a song with Clayton after so many years.
Like most of my melodies, the idea was recorded on Voice notes on my phone, followed by some passable ukulele chords like so:
Some might not know this about Clayton but he can play almost any instrument he gets his hands on. He took my lil melody and composed a WHOLE VIBE that would end up sounding like:
The monsties hiding throughout the exhibit live in the dream world and are protectors of the Colossal Crystal.
